My UMass Bio:

Lori Weider possesses the ability to explain technical concepts in an easily understandable manner and her enthusiasm is often contagious!
Currently, Lori is on staff at the New Bedford Global Learning Charter School as an Instructional Technology Specialist.
Lori has 25 years of experience with technology and a very high level of skills relating to this discipline and its uses in the educational field. She holds Massachusetts Certifications in Grades 1-6 and Instructional Technology for grades 1-12 and has taught technology at the elementary, middle and high school levels. She possesses a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instructional Technology from Framingham State.
Lori has conducted numerous professional development workshops in many school districts; and most recently, Lori has led an Enhancing Education Through Technology (170A) Grant for a 1:1 laptop initiative for seventh and eighth grade students.
Recently, Lori was honored to be certified as an Intel Master Teacher for the “Intel Teach to the Future” & “Intel Teaching Thinking with Technology” professional development programs.
